Kathmandu. Investors have lost Rs 1.3 trillion in the stock market which has been declining continuously lately. The market capitalization of a company listed in Nepse when the share market reached its peak a year ago, It has reached Rs 44 trillion but now it has dropped to Rs 31 trillion.
The Nepse index that touched the point of 3220 has now dropped to around two thousand. Shares worth Rs 21.31 billion were traded on the same day but now it is falling below Rs 1 billion. The market, which rose to an all-time high of 3200 in August last year, has now reached 2,000 points.
A big wave was created in the share market after a limited number of individuals and groups submitted a report to the Ministry of Finance alleging that the prices of 51 companies had increased unnaturally. Even after that, the market has been recovering and the monetary policy of the current fiscal year has started declining.
