Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Municipal Corporation is also preparing to make the bank's toilets public. After Mayor Balendra Shah announced to make public the toilets of hotels and restaurants in Kathmandu, the metropolis has issued notice for cooperation.

A meeting of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Executive Committee on June 29 had decided to sign an agreement with commercial companies and corporations of the metropolis to increase easy access to public toilets.

Banks, hotels, restaurants, commercial buildings, malls, shopping complexes, companies, firms, businessmen and non-governmental organizations in the metropolis have been called upon to make their toilets public.

The metropolis has requested the interested stakeholders to contact the public-private partnership unit Babur Mahal within 7 days of the publication of the notice.
