Kathmandu. The stock market has been declining continuously lately. Along with the market decline, the share prices of companies listed in the secondary market are also declining day by day. According to Nepse, share prices of most of the companies in commercial banks, development banks, finance, hydro, hotels and investment groups are being bought and sold at minimum prices till the first week of July. Of the 195 companies traded on Thursday, the share price of 21 companies has dropped below 200.
Shares of five of the commercial banks have become cheaper than Rs 200. Of this, Laxmi Bank has Rs 198.80, Kumari Bank Rs 194, Civil Bank Rs 200.70, Century Commercial Bank Rs 183.50 and Sunrise Bank Rs 198 per capita. The share price of Kumari, Century and Sunrise Bank is the lowest ever.
The share price of Hydroelectricity Investment and Development under the investment group has dropped to Rs 181 per share. Its shares have been traded up to Rs 575 per share. Similarly, most of the hydro companies are below the share price of Rs 200. The share price of 10 Hydro shares is less than Rs. 200 per share as of July 25.
175.90 of Union Hydro, 174.30 of Himal Dolakha Hydro, 190.60 of Ghalemdi Hydro, 171 of Joshi Hydro, 174.50 of Ankhukhola Hydropower Company, 200 of Madhyabhotekoshi Hydropower Company, 186 of Universal Power Company, 176 of Divyashwori Hydro. 180 and Panchakanya Mai Hydro is Rs. 187 per quintal. Similarly, the share price of Salty Hotel under Hotels Group fell to Rs 189.10 per share. Which is around the minimum price. Earlier, the hotel's share was bought and sold at Rs 186 per share.
Share prices of two finance and two development banks have fallen. These include Prosperity Finance and Progressive Finance. Shares of the two companies last traded at Rs 188 and Rs 199 per share, respectively. Out of which, the share price of Samvridhi Finance is still low while the minimum price of Progressive has reached the average. Similarly, the share price of Saptakoshi Development Bank has dropped to Rs 189 per share and that of Green Development Bank to Rs 195 per share.
