Kathmandu. Nepal Bangladesh Bank and Nabil Bank Limited have received final approval for integrated transactions. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Wednesday gave final approval to the two banks for integrated transactions. Executive Director of the Supervision Department of Banks and Financial Institutions of Nepal Rastra Bank, Gunakar Bhatta, informed that the meeting of the Board of Directors of Nepal Rastra Bank held on Wednesday gave final approval to both the banks.

According to bank sources, the issue of staff adjustment has been resolved. According to a source, it has been agreed to keep the posts of Bangladesh Bank employees in the staff adjustment. Bank sources also said that they are preparing to conduct integrated business by mid-July.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank and Nabil Bank Limited had signed a preliminary agreement on April 13. The special general meeting of both the banks held on May 22 had passed the acquisition proposal.
