Kathmandu. Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has resigned from the post. In a meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Minister Sharma resigned from the post. The finance minister is accused of forcing a former deputy subba to manipulate tax rates while preparing the budget. Similarly, there is widespread protest against Finance Minister Sharma after the Finance Ministry said that CCTV footage of the day before the budget came was deleted. A special parliamentary committee has been formed today to investigate the issue of manipulating tax rates.

Finance Minister Sharma said that there was no error in the preparation of the budget for the coming fiscal year. "I went to sleep at the Pulchowk quarters at around 11:30 on the day before the budget was made. I arrived at the ministry at 6 o'clock the next day. I have given policy instructions to two secretaries and two DGs regarding manipulating the tax rate. I have not made any mistake in preparing the budget, ”he said.

He also challenged the investigation to clarify which particular family he was referring to. "I have resigned, paving the way for an investigation. Not just a parliamentary committee to investigate. I am ready for a thousand investigations', he challenged.
