Kathmandu. Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana has taken charge. A meeting of the Board of Directors of Nabil Bank Limited held on July 3, 2008 had decided to appoint Dhungana as the Chief Executive Officer.

Dhungana, who has more than 25 years of experience in the management and leadership role of the banking sector, had earlier led Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited for 10 years as the Chief Executive Officer. He has also served as General Manager of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank and Director of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Dhungana, who completed her Master's degree in Chartered Accountancy (CA) from India and Certificate Public Accountant (CPA) from Australia and Financial Analysis, was awarded the Manager to Watch by the Nepal Federation of Management in 2013 and the Manager of the Year in 2015. Executive Officer Dhungana also became the president of Nepal Bankers Association in 2018 BS.

Under the efficient and capable leadership of Dhungana, Nabil Bank Limited hopes to gain more heights in the coming days by gaining a leading position in various financial indices.
