According to sources, Citizens Civil is ready for 97 days. This means that after the merger of 100 shareholders in Civil Bank, there will be only 97 shares in Citizens Bank.

After the merger, it has been agreed that the name of the bank will be Citizens, the chairman will be Rajan Singh Bhandari and the chief executive will be Ganesh Raj Pokhrel. A blueprint has been prepared for Sunil Pokharel to be the senior deputy CEO and for the civil society to be represented in the steering committee.

Chairman of Civil Bank Pratap Jung Pandey and Director of Citizens Bank Prabal Jung Pandey are brothers. Stakeholders also understand that this has made the merger talks between the two banks easier and more result-oriented.
