Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank is going to provide concessions and facilities given earlier to commercial banks and small finance financial institutions that are conducting integrated transactions by the end of December 2022.

Nepal Rastra Bank announced this through monetary policy 2079/80. According to Nepal Rastra Bank, exemptions and facilities related to mergers and acquisitions will be available to those who conduct integrated business by the end of January through merger or acquisition.

In relation to mergers and acquisitions, CBIFIN had suggested to the National Bank to maintain the existing arrangements for at least the period of the next financial year and provide more concessions with opportunities for mergers, acquisitions and acquisitions. In which, if the banks and financial institutions merge, an additional 1 percent interest spread rate will be provided until 2080, and it has been suggested that it should be continued until 2082.
