Kathmandu. Jyoti Bikas Bank celebrated its 14th anniversary of establishment on Monday 9th of Shravan. The bank celebrated its anniversary at the central office in Kamalpokhri in the presence of members of the board of directors, former directors, employees and customers.
Besides, founder chairman and shareholder Dhruv Kumar Upreti and founder shareholder and former chairman Dhruv Raj Bhattarai were also present in the program. On the occasion of the 14th anniversary, the bank has also launched Jyoti Video Banking.
Under this medium, in the first step, the account is opened online, and the video KYC has been released with a service that allows the account to be operated immediately without going to the bank. After this, Nepalese who are abroad can also open an account online.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the bank also organized a blood donation program, in which employees, customers and other general public donated blood. On the same occasion, employees who have contributed to the bank for 10 years have also been honored. Chairman of the Board of Directors Hari Chandra Khadka and Chief Executive Officer Shrichandra Bhatt jointly presented medals and certificates to the employees.
