Rastra Bank is preparing to distribute new notes for Dashain from Bhadra last week

Kathmandu. This year, new notes for Dashain can be exchanged only after the third week of August. According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the facility to exchange new notes this year is going to be arranged only after 21st of August. This year, since Dasain is a festival, the National Bank has said that it is preparing to issue new notes in August itself.

The National Bank had distributed new notes at the rate of 18,500 rupees per person last year. According to the Department of Currency Management, arrangements for new notes will be made easily for Dasain this year. It also said that new notes will be distributed easily this year.

Last year, the National Bank had planned to distribute a total of 35 billion rupees worth of new notes at the rate of 18,500 per person. Last year, there was a plan to distribute new notes at the rate of 18,500 per person.

Last year, the facility of issuing new notes was provided through designated branch offices of licensed commercial banks within Kathmandu Valley. Outside the Kathmandu Valley, it was arranged that one can go to the Rashtra Bank office in the state or the branch office designated by the commercial bank to get the facility of bank notes. According to the Department of Currency Management, this year also like last year, arrangements will be made for the facility of new notes.
