Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has amended the guidelines (regarding dollar prepaid card) in the integrated circular 2078. The National Bank has mentioned in the notice issued on Tuesday that certain codes of merchant category will not work for A-year commercial banks and B-category development banks which have received permission to do foreign exchange transactions.

Debate on loans of working capital nature

Industry organization Morang has completed an interaction regarding current capital loan guidance, 2079. Nepal Rastra Bank has issued this guidance regarding current capital loans provided by banks and financial institutions from October 1st.

Sooyash Pyakurel, the president of the organization, expressed the opinion that although it is relevant for the Nepal Rastra Bank to closely monitor the issue of credit utilization, it is relevant to bring the scope of action to those who flee the capital, in the case of the productive sector, there should be a provision that the operation of the productive industry will not be hindered if any type of current capital loan limit is set.

Stating that if the credit limit is set for industries that buy and store raw materials needed for the whole year once a year, a situation will be created where they will have to close down. He said that there is a suspicion that there will be difficulties in business operations.
