Kathmandu. Looking at the dividend rate of the last year, it is seen that among the commercial banks, Nabil has been giving the highest dividend compared to other banks. It can be seen that Miteri and Muktinath have the lead in dividend among development banks. Similarly, among finance companies, Janaki Finance has given the most dividends to investors.

Nabil Bank has distributed the highest dividend in 5 years. Till this period it has paid a total of 189% dividend to its shareholders. In return, Nabil gave 48.16% cash and 141.10% bonus shares. After that, Standard Chartered Bank has distributed 53.16% in cash and 117% as dividend for a total of 170.16%. Only 7 out of 26 banks have paid more than 100% dividend in 5 years.

Among development banks, Miteri Development Bank has distributed 100.30% dividend in a period of 5 years. It has 5.02% cash and 95.31% bonus shares. Similarly, Muktinath Development Bank distributed 92.81% dividend with 8.13% cash and 84.68% bonus share. Sagrila Development Bank is ahead in providing more cash. Till this period, Sagrila has distributed 24.5% cash dividend to its shareholders. 9 Development Bank has distributed more than 50% dividend in the last 5 years.
