Kathmandu. Himalayan Bank, the only bank that accepts the world famous brand American Express, JCB, Mastercard and Visa, has received the Excellence in POS Acquiring Business 2022 Award.

Among the chief guests of a ceremony organized by Visa, Deputy Governor Dr. Neelam Dhungana presented the award to the bank. The bank has been receiving the award in this category since the previous years.

Himalayan Bank is the only bank in Nepal that accepts various world famous cards in its network. It is becoming easier for domestic and foreign customers to pay with their cards as the famous card brands that are in vogue around the world are accepted through their ATMs, POS and e-commerce gateways.

Vyhora Bank has informed that Diners Discover brand will be acceptable addition within this month, dedicating this honor to the customers who are doing card acquiring business and are interested in the specialized services provided by the bank. At present, the bank is providing services through 153 ATMs, more than 5500 POS and around 700 e-commerce merchants.
