Kathmandu. Himalayan Reinsurance Company has appointed Upasana Poudel as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO). At the age of 34, Upasana, who worked as Nepal's first female CEO in United Insurance Company, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Re Insurance Company.

Paudel, who previously worked as the chief executive officer of United Insurance, left before the end of one term. Paudel, who has about a decade of experience, has completed her studies up to MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of Delhi University.
