Kathmandu. The interest rate will not increase in the coming month December 2022 of January 2023 . In the month of January, the commercial bank will continue the interest rate of November. The umbrella organization of commercial banks, the Bankers' Association, held a meeting on Tuesday and decided to continue the rate of November in January.

Banks continued to maintain the interest rate of the previous month in November as well. On the other hand, Bikas Bank and Finance are also going to keep the same interest rate as in December.

Banks did not raise interest rates even in November. In November, the banks have maintained the interest rate of personal term deposits at 12.133 percent and savings at a minimum of 7.133 percent and a maximum of 9.133 percent.
