Kathmandu. 7 billion rupees deposits have been added to the Nepali banking system in one day. Last Wednesday, equivalent deposits were added to the banking system (A, B and C category banks).

Adding deposits equal to 7 billion rupees, the total deposits have reached 53 trillion 2 billion rupees, which is the highest so far. For the first time in Nepal's banking system, deposits above 53 trillion rupees have been maintained. The latest data from Nepal Rastra Bank has shown this.

As of Tuesday, there were 52 trillion 95 billion rupees in deposits in the banking system. During this period, the deposits of Karmashilay Bank alone have reached 46 trillion 75 billion rupees. As of Tuesday, it was 46 trillion 68 billion rupees. According to that, it seems that deposits increased only in Karmashilay banks on Wednesday. According to Rashtra Bank, the deposits of other banks and financial institutions are 6 trillion 27 billion rupees.

Similarly, the total loan disbursement of banks has reached 47 trillion 67 billion rupees. Even till Tuesday, the total loan disbursement was 47 trillion 67 billion rupees.In total loans, only commercial banks have provided loans of 42 trillion 21 billion rupees. Other banks and financiers have provided loans of 5 trillion 46 billion rupees.

Likewise, the credit deposit (CD) ratio has remained at 86.56 percent as of Wednesday. According to the new rules, the bank's CD ratio should be up to 90 percent only. According to that, banks seem to be in a position to provide loans recently.
