Kathamnu. The NEPSE index rose for the seventh consecutive trading day. NEPSE, which has been rising since Tuesday of last week, has continued the same pace on this day as well. The NEPSE index has gained 141.78 points in the last 7 trading days. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index rose 16.49 points to 1959.12 points. Similarly, on this day the Sensitive Index increased by 3.58 points while the Float Index increased by 0.90 points and the Sensitive Float Index increased by 0.78 points.
Although NEPSE has increased, the transaction amount has generally decreased on this day. In the market which traded more than 2 billion shares on the previous trading day, 48 lakh 65 thousand shares worth 1 billion 873 million rupees were bought and sold in 34 thousand 841 transactions of 270 stocks on this day.
On this day, shares of two stocks traded in positive circuit levels. On this day, the shares of Atmanirbhar Lagufitta Financial Institution and Unilever Nepal were traded at positive circuit levels. Similarly, on this day the share price of Shivam Cements, Global IME Balanced Fund 1, Swabhiman Laguvitta Financial Institution, United Insurance and Solti Hotel increased by more than 6 percent. 101 stocks fell in value on this day. Out of which, the unit price of Sanima Equity Fund has decreased the most by 3.77 percent.
