Kathmandu. Economic activity study report has been published. Nepal Rastra Bank has published a report on Tuesday after studying the half-yearly economic activity based on data from July to December of the current financial year 2079 and 80.

According to the report, the number of real estate registrations decreased by 50.03 percent to 196,595 and the revenue from land registration reached Rs. 9.9 billion. The number of permanent map passes for houses and buildings has decreased by 37.5 percent.
Compared to the end of December 2078, the deposits of banks and financial institutions have increased by 9.1 percent and loan disbursement by 4.1 percent by the end of December 2079. The share of Bagmati province in the total deposits and loans of banks and financial institutions is 69.4 percent and 55.6 percent respectively. The share of Karnali province in deposits and loans is 1.2 percent and 1.2 percent respectively.
