Kathmandu. Chandra Prasad Dhakal has been elected unopposed as the chairman of Global IME Bank Limited. The first meeting of the 6-member board of directors unanimously elected from the 17th annual general meeting of the bank, re-elected Dhakal as the chairman.

Dhakal is the president of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce. Chairman Dhakal, Ram Bahadur Bhandari and Radhesh Pant from among the founding shareholders and Narayan Prasad Paudel Upadhyay, Madanlal Joshi and Krishna Prasad Sharma were elected to the board of directors from the common shareholders. After the newly elected chairman takes the oath of office and secrecy from the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.
