In this context, on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, Nepal Clearing House Limited, the operator of Nepal's payment system, honored Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited as the bank with the most digital transactions among the banks of Nepal on Sunday evening. During a special program, the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari presented the award to the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Kiran Kumar Shrestha.
The chief executive officer of the bank, Shrestha, said that the bank was able to achieve this feat because the bank had invested enough in technology, and said that now the National Commercial Bank has moved from the traditional system to digitalization. He said that the bank is also working under the IT Enhancement Roadmap to introduce Core Banking Software based on international advanced banking technology. He requested all the customers to use the banking services confidently as the bank is providing modern digital banking services.
