Kathmandu - Machhapuchhre Bank's profit has decreased. According to the financial situation of the second quarter of the current financial year released by the bank, the profit of the bank has decreased by 21.45 percent till the end of January.

At present, the profit of the bank is 805.3 million 80 thousand rupees. In the same period last year, the profit of the bank was 1 billion 2 crore 52 lakh 62 thousand rupees.

During this period, the bank's net interest income and operating profit decreased. Net interest income decreased by 5.56 percent to 2 billion 63 crore 74 lakh 97 thousand rupees. Similarly, operating profit decreased by 13.19 percent to 1 billion 27 billion 92 million 33 thousand rupees.

It said that the distributable profit of the bank is negative 24 crore 69 lakh 86 thousand rupees. 11 billion 62 crore 13 lakh 57 thousand rupees in the reserve fund of the bank with a paid-up capital of 5 billion 44 crore 27 lakh 18 thousand rupees.
