An Overview of Laxmi Bank Limited
Introduction:
Laxmi Bank Limited is the 16th commercial bank of Nepal. Laxmi Bank Limited was incorporated in April 2002 and in 2004 Laxmi Bank merged with HISEF Finance Limited, a first generation financial company which was the first merger in Nepali corporate history. And in January 2017, the bank acquired Professional Diyalo Bikas Bank. Laxmi Bank network consists of 96 branches and 3 hospital services counters across 46 districts, 106 ATMs, 2,500 remittance agents and 51 branches banking agents spread across the country. The bank actively promotes digital channels such as internet and mobile banking.

Incorporation
Laxmi Bank is a Category ‘A’ Financial Institution and re-registered in 2006 under the “Banks and Financial Institutions Act” of Nepal. The bank’s shares are listed and actively traded on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
