What is TMS ? How to open TMS to trade stocks

TMS is a complete form of trade management system. It is used to trade shares online.

Traditionally, shares were traded only after going to the broker's office and ordering the purchase or sale of shares orally or in writing. But after the arrival of TMS, the investors who have availed this service are not obliged to visit the broker's office.

Investors can trade shares by logging in to computers, laptops, mobiles and other devices from home, office or from where they live.

In some brokers, all the work of TMS is done online, while in others, you have to go to submit the KYC form. KYC forms can also be uploaded online.

Fill in the TMS: To fill up the TMS, first prepare the necessary documents. For this, KYC form, copy of citizenship, DP ID, signature, photo and any card or selfie photo taken with your citizenship card are required.

Then go to https://tms49.nepsetms.com.np/login and click (for example this link is given) you can get this service from any broker in Nepal. The broker's office is also known by numbers like 1, 2, 3 along with their name.

Then click on New Registration Online Trading. Then you have to complete 6 processes. These include General Details, Address Details, Individual Details, Bank Details, Depository Details and Documents Details.

General Detail : You have to fill in the e-mail address, phone number, page number. The page number is not required to fill it. Permanent and temporary addresses must be entered in the address details.

Address details : The full address of your permanent residence should be filled in the address details. For example, states, districts, shifts and wards are made mandatory.

Individual details : You have to be careful while filling it. Many are found to have made mistakes here. The date of birth and the date of issue of citizenship should be filled in English. Otherwise the system will not accept. The names of father and grandfather are also included in it.

Bank details : All you have to do is enter your bank account number and bank address.

Depository details : Fill in your 16-digit DP (Demat) number provided by your bank and broker.

Documents details : It should upload a copy of citizenship, KYC form and photo, selfie photo, signature. Then you have to go to the summit and click.

A few days after you receive the e-mail, you can change the password and use TMS easily. When entering the password, the password should be entered using capital letters and numerals and (symbol) $ *.

This way, once the username and password are available, there will be no problem in selling the shares you have.

You can trade from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, except on holidays. Apart from that, you can also trade in the pre-open session for 15 minutes from 10:30 am to 10:45 am on those days.
