Kathmandu. The total insurance fee of life insurance companies has exceeded 61 billion. According to the statistics released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the life insurance companies have earned a total insurance fee of 61.74 billion 71 lakh rupees till the end of November.

Life insurance companies have collected 50.77 billion 38 lakh 88 thousand rupees through renewal insurance fee and 10.97 billion rupees 42 thousand rupees through first insurance fee. Nepal Life Insurance has maintained its lead in earning the highest total insurance fee in five months of the current financial year. It has earned a total insurance fee of 16.76 billion rupees till the end of November.

Similarly, NepalLife Insurance took the second place with Rs 7.16 billion 23 lakhs, LIC Insurance took the third place with Rs 6.92 billion 1 lakhs, Himalayan Life took the fourth place with Rs 6.79 billion 90 lakhs and In the fifth place, the National InsRastriya Beema Sansthan earned a total insurance fee of 4.52 billion rupees.

In addition, Sury Jyoti Life earned 3.45 billion 84 million rupees, Asian Life 3.2 billion 45 million rupees, Sanima Reliance Life 2.36 billion rupees 92 million rupees, Citizen Life 2.23 billion rupees 92 million rupees, Met Life Rs 2 billion 19 crore 27 lakh, Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life Rs 1 billion 67 crore 6 lakh, IME Life Rs 1 billion 63 crore 78 lakh, Reliable Nepal Life Rs 1 billion 53 crore 19 lakh and   Sun Nepal Life has 1 billion 44 crore 93 lakh rupees.
