An Overview of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited
Introduction:
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited was established on 1987/ 01/ 30 and has been in operation in Nepal since 1987/02/28 when it was initially registered as a joint-venture operation. The bank is a leading international banking group with a 160-year history in some of the world’s most dynamic markets. 
The bank enjoys the status of the only international bank currently operation in Nepal. The bank is serving its clients and customers through an extensive domestic network with 15 points of representation, 26 ATMs across the country and than 531 local staff.
The bank has its Head Office at Nayabaneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. In 2018, the Bank achieved its ambitious target to raise USD100 million globally for SiB two years ahead of schedule. In Nepal, it continues to support all existing SiB commitments until 31 December 2020. In May 2019, the bank’s new Global community program Strategy “Futuremakers by Standard Chartered” was launched in Nepal subsequent to the global launch in January 2019.
