Ten companies have announced to pay the highest dividend to the shareholders from the profit of the Fiscal Year 2076/77.
The companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange have so far declared dividends by 94 institutions. Among the top 10 companies declaring dividends are a commercial bank, an insurance company, five microfinance companies, two manufacturing and processing groups and a hydropower company.
The two companies have agreed to pay 100 percent dividend.
Unilever Nepal and Himalayan Distillery will pay 100 percent dividend. Unilever will pay 100 percent cash dividend while Himalayan Distillery will pay 100 percent dividend with 50 percent bonus and 50 percent cash.
Nepal Life Insurance is the third company to declare dividend. Nepal Life has announced a 31 percent bonus share and a 20 percent cash dividend of 51 percent.
Navil Bank is the fourth company to be announced. Navi has announced a 33.5 percent bonus and a total dividend of 35.26 percent with 1.76 percent in cash for tax purposes.
There are five microfinance companies in the list of top ten companies that pay high dividends. Womi Microfinance has given 30 percent bonus share. Similarly, Neighboring Microfinance Development Bank will pay 29 percent with 7 percent cash and 22 percent bonus, Global IME Microfinance will pay 27.47 percent bonus and tax with 1.45 percent cash dividend, 28.92 percent and Samata Microfinance will pay 26.32 percent. . The 20 percent bonus of equity and 6.32 percent cash including tax and the 26.31 percent dividend to be given by Sana Kisan Vikas Bank has 25 percent bonus and 1.31 percent cash.
Similarly, Butwal Power Company will pay 10 percent bonus share and 15 percent cash and 25 percent dividend.
