Kathmandu. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Muktinath Development Bank Pradyuman Pokharel has been elected as the Chairman of Development Bankers Association Nepal. According to the Development Bankers' Association, the 15th annual general meeting of the association held on Tuesday elected the current vice-chairman Pokharel as the chairman and elected a new nine-member working committee in the association without any opposition.
Suyog Shrestha, CEO of Sangrila Development Bank, Bodhraj Devkota, CEO of Mahalakshmi Development Bank and Praveen Basnet, CEO of Kamana Seva Development Bank have been elected as vice president, secretary and treasurer of the association respectively.
The five members of the ASC are Naresh Singh Bohra, CEO of Lumbini Development Bank, Prakash Poudel, CEO of Sign Resunga Development Bank, Srichandra Bhatt, CEO of Jyoti Development Bank, Navin Subedi, CEO of Saptakoshi Development Bank and Umesh Kumar Acharya, CEO of Green Development Bank. There are 15 member development banks in the association. Of these, 14 members are in the presence of the CEO of the Development Bank, according to the Development Bankers Association.
