Banke. The District Kovid-19 Crisis Management Center has decided to lock down Banke for at least a week.
A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center in Banke on Tuesday decided to hold a one-week strike to break the chain of corona as it is spreading rapidly in Banke, said Banke Assistant Chief District Officer Dir Gharaj Upadhyaya.
The DCCMC has recommended to the Chief District Officer that all the areas be closed for one year from Thursday, April 25, except for the most essential services.
Assistant Chief District Officer Upadhyaya said that the bandh was forced as there was a shortage of beds for the treatment of corona patients at the hospital.
A coronary infection was confirmed in 322 people in 631 samples tested in Banke on Monday.
