Kathmandu. Banker Niraj Shrestha has died due to corona infection. Shrestha, who was admitted to the Nepal Police Hospital for a few days after the corona infection, died on Wednesday morning.

According to his family sources, Shrestha was treated on a ventilator only after the corona became very difficult. Her father also died on Tuesday. Shrestha has a wife and a daughter. It is said that he will arrive in Kathmandu today immediately after the news of the death of his wife and daughter who are currently in Delhi.

Known as an experienced banker in the banking sector, Shrestha started his banking career in 1989 from the then Greenledge Bank. He spent 13 years in Greenland. He left NIC Asia Bank's General Manager and went to Global IME. He worked as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank.
