Nepalgunj. Relatives of the deceased have attacked doctors and health workers after the death of the corona infected. Dilli Bahadur Rawat, 53, of Dang, who had been undergoing treatment since June 16, died last night. After his death, angry relatives attacked the health worker and vandalized the ICU room of the hospital. One doctor and four nurses were injured in the incident. Sheila Sharma, a nursing officer, said that a health worker ran away from the hospital after she was assaulted while on duty. Some health workers hid in the toilets to save their lives after the angry mob started beating them.

Tej Wali, a corona focal person in Banke, said that Rawat's relatives attacked the health worker saying that he died while being treated on a ventilator without informing his family. Police had provided security after tension arose at the hospital.
