Kathmandu: Arun Kabeli Power has convened its annual general meeting on September 10 to pass a 17.89% dividend. A special resolution has been passed in the meeting to pass 17.89% dividend. The company has offered investors a 17% bonus share and a 0.89% dividend for tax purposes from last fiscal year's profit. Similarly, after the distribution of bonus shares, a proposal to approve the issue of right shares in the ratio of 1: 1 from the paid up capital will be taken to the meeting.

The company is going to close the book for the purpose of general meeting and dividend from September 3 to September 8. Therefore, in order to secure the dividend proposed by the company, the shares will have to be purchased by September 30.
