Kathmandu: The IPO of Tehrathum Power Company will be held on Friday (September 10). Its pre-allotment has been completed. As there are more applications than demand in the IPO of Tehrathum, the shares will be distributed through round robin.

Of this, a total of 3 billion 12 crore 46 lakh 91 thousand rupees has been received from 23 lakh 96 thousand 348 applicants. Based on the 744,000 lots sold to the public, 74,400,000 applicants will get shares at the rate of 10 lots. 23 lakh 21 thousand 948 people will be deprived of getting IPO.

 The company has opened 800,000 IPOs for sale to the public from August 25. Out of which 5% (40,000 lots) were reserved for mutual funds and 2% (16,000 lots) for shareholders. The general public could apply for the remaining 744,000 lots. Tehrathum Power is constructing a 7.5 MW Upper Khorung Small Hydropower Project in Tehrathum district.

 The total cost of the project is Rs. 1.34 billion. Its cost per megawatt is Rs. 178.9 million. After the IPO sale, its paid-up capital will reach Rs 400 million.
