Nepal Bangladesh Bank passes 15.50 percent dividend

Kathmandu. Nepal Bangladesh Bank has passed a proposal to distribute 15.50 percent dividend. The bank has decided to distribute the dividend at its 27th annual general meeting. As proposed by the Board of Directors of the Bank. Approved to distribute bonus shares at the rate of 12 percent of the paid up capital and 3.50 percent (including tax on bonus shares and cash dividends) from the profits of 2077/07.

Also, six people have been elected to the board of directors for the next four-year term as per the management letter and rules of the bank. 

There are 3 from the founding group and 3 from the general group. ARM Najmus Shakib, M Shah Alam Sarwar and Cameron Nahar Ahmed have been elected from the founding group. Similarly, Indra Bahadur Thapa, Yogita Dahal and Aman Sah have been elected from the general group.
