Public holiday on Sunday: Share market, banks and financial institutions will also be closed

Kathmandu: The government has given a public holiday on Sunday on the occasion of Bucker Eid. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notice on Sunday stating that the followers of Islam have been given leave as per the information published in the Nepal Gazette on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the holiday has been fixed on Sunday as per the recommendation of the Muslim Commission. Along with this decision of the government, all government offices including share market, banks and financial institutions will also be closed on that day.
