Kathmandu. Seven hydropower companies have released their annual financial statements for the financial year 2078/79. Sanima My Hydropower, Mountain Energy Nepal, National Hydropower, Panchthar Power, Ankhukhola Hydropower Project, Himal Dolakha Hydropower and Divyaswari Hydropower are among those who have published the details.

According to the published details, it has been seen that 3 companies are in losses. All the companies that have gone to loss are the companies that have completed the construction of the proposed project and are regularly selling electricity. Divyashwari, National and Himal Dolakha Hydropower have gone into losses last year. Divswari Hydropower Company, which has a paid-up capital of Rs 2 crore 64 lakh, has lost a loss equal to Rs 1 crore 73 lakh. This loss is Rs 6.58 per share. The net worth of the company, which has been in losses since the past, has now fallen to Rs. 15.

National Hydropower has a loss of Rs 1.74 lakh which is Rs 1.04 per share. The paid-up capital of the company is 1.64 billion rupees. The accumulated profit of the company is 1 crore 70 lakh rupees. This company has the ability to give 1.04 percent dividend. Similarly, Himal Dolakha Power has a loss of Rs 1 crore 88 lakh. The paid-up capital of this company is 1.6 billion rupees, which is 1.18 rupees per share. This company is also in a state of accumulated losses.
