Out of which 4 are non-life insurance companies and 2 are life insurance companies. So far, Citizen Life Insurance, Reliable Nepal Life, Nepal Insurance, Himalayan Everest Insurance, NLG Insurance and United Ajod Insurance Company have declared dividends. These companies have announced dividends to be distributed to their shareholders from the profits of the last financial year.

Citizen Life Insurance has announced a total of 5.2632 percent dividend from the accumulated profits up to the financial year 2079/080 to the shareholders with 5 percent bonus shares and 0.2632 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.

Nepal Insurance Company announced 10 percent bonus shares and 0.5263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes for the financial year 2079/80. The said dividend has been passed by the general meeting on January 13th. For the last financial year, the total paid-up capital of 1 billion 49 crore 47 lakh 65 thousand 399.72 rupees will be 10 percent, bonus shares worth 140 million 94 lakh 76 thousand 539 thousand and 97 rupees and 78 lakh 67 thousand will be 0.5263 percent for tax purposes. Himalayan Everest Insurance Company has announced the dividend for the financial year 2079/080. The company has proposed to distribute a total of 15 percent dividend from the distributable profit of the last fiscal year to the current paid-up capital of 2.3 billion 1.5 million 35 thousand rupees.
