Kathmandu. The dividend proposed by the company in Nepal Reinsurance has been approved. The company had offered a bonus share of 16.50 per cent and a cash dividend of 2.50 per cent of the paid-up capital. The Insurance Committee has approved the distribution of 19 percent dividend as proposed by the company.

At the same time, the way has been opened to hold a general meeting of the company in Nepal Reinsurance. Earlier, the company had not been able to hold a general meeting as it had repeatedly declared dividends but had not received distribution approval. Now the company will announce the date of the general meeting.

The dividend that the company is going to distribute for the first time in Nepal Reinsurance is very attractive. Although the board of directors had announced 20 percent dividend from the meeting held on June 20, it was revised to 19 percent on September 8 after it was not approved.
