Top 10 hydropower companies declared dividends of FY 2080/081

KATHMANDU: Top 9 hydropower companies has declared dividends of fiscal Year 2080/081 profits. 2 companies has completed the general meeting and 2 have book closed. While the date of general meeting and book close of 3 companies has been decided, the book close date of 2 is yet to be decided.

The hydropower companies that have declared dividends are Ruru, Bhagwati, Supermai, Mandu, Shahas Urja, Api, Mandakini, Super Madi and Arun Valley Hydropower Company. Still buying shares of Mandakini, Supermy, Api and Arun Valley Hydropower will get the proposed dividend.

RURU Hydropower 
RURU Jalvidyut Project Limited is paying 15.78 percent dividend this time. The Board of Directors meeting held on October 12 of this company decided to give 15 percent bonus shares and 0.78 percent cash dividend to pay taxes. The company has announced that it will also issue 80 percent right shares in the remaining capital after issuing the bonus shares.

RURU has called a general meeting on 11th November. The annual report of the board of directors for the financial year 2080-81, balance sheet, profit and loss etc. will be discussed in the meeting.
