Kathmandu. The government has annouced the policy and program for the coming Fiscal Year  2076/77.

President Vidyadevi Bhandari presented the policy and program for the first time in the joint sitting of the federal parliament.

The government aims to achieve near double-digit economic growth next year.

The government has set a target of achieving a growth rate of close to 10 percent in 2075/76 through next year's policies and programs presented in the parliament.

The KP Oli-led government has announced to double the per capita income of Nepalis within the next five years. It has been mentioned that through the policy and program of the coming year promised by the President in the Parliament, the per capita income of Nepalis will be doubled within the next five years and the policy of equal distribution will be adopted for all.

The government has taken a policy to connect all the local level centers of Nepal with blacktop roads within the next five years. The policy and program of the Government of Nepal for the coming year has stated that blacktop roads will reach every local level center.

The government is set to open bank accounts for all Nepalis next year. The President said that a campaign will be launched to make all kinds of government payments through banks and cooperatives and for that all Nepalis will have bank accounts.
