Kathmandu. While reviewing the monetary policy, Nepal Rastra Bank has informed that there has been a sharp decline in remittances. According to NRB, remittance of Rs 75.48 billion was received in April last year.

In the corresponding month of the previous year, remittance of Rs. 143.11 billion was received.

 By April, remittances had declined by Rs 67.63 billion to Rs 75.48 billion. In the corresponding period of the previous year, Rs. 143.11 billion was remitted.
