Priority to capital market in the budget

Fiscal Year 2077/78 has addressed the capital market. It has been mentioned in the budget that the secondary market trading of bonds will be started by expanding the scope of capital market.

It has been mentioned in the budget that stock dealers will be brought into operation in the coming Fiscal Year to make the second market trading of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited based entirely on electronic technology and to increase institutional investment in the capital market.

Similarly, it has been mentioned in the budget that necessary arrangements will be made to bring the barter market into operation and structural reforms of Securities Board, Nepal Stock Exchange Limited and CDS and Clearing Limited will be done.

The stock market is expected to take a positive path after the lockout as the capital market has been given priority in the budget. Also, stock market experts say that the stock market may increase in the coming fiscal year.
