The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended trading on the stock after falling 6 percent.
According to the stock, the NEPSE index fell by 80.41 points, or 6.02 percent, to 1,256.11. Similarly, the Sensitive Index also declined by 17.99 points or 6.27 percent. A total of 1 million 61 thousand 890 shares of 142 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs. 476.6 million 54 thousand 971.
Of the total 11 subgroups traded, shares of all subgroups except collective investment funds declined today. Banking 87.14, hotel 128.37, development bank 76.35, hydropower 34.95, finance 0.03, non-life insurance 178.31, manufacturing 128.52, others 31.39, microfinance increased by 0.01. The stock declined by 71.26 per cent and life insurance by 608.61 per cent.
According to the stock, the company is in the top position in Nepal Reinsurance in terms of turnover. The company is worth Rs. 66,82,125. Nepal Life Insurance Company Rs. 653,175, Himalayan Distillery Rs. 384.37 million, NIC Asia Bank Rs. 218.32 million, Citizens Investment Fund Rs. 22656, NMB Bank Rs. 90,136 and Nepal Investment Bank's transactions of Rs. 1,78,70,479 were in the top two.
Shares of Swabhiman MFI 8.07, Gurkhaj Finance 3.81, Goodwill Finance 3.38, Nepal Purnabima Company 3.17, Miteri Development Bank 3.01 and Sparsh Microfinance Financial Institution gained 2.10 percent. Similarly, Salty Hotel 10, Prabhu Bank 9.92, Himalayan Distillery 9.27, Life Insurance Company 9.15, Global IME Bank 9.13, Asian Life Insurance 8.80, Nepal Bank 8.46, Nepal Life Insurance 8. 33 and investors in NIC Asia Bank lost 8.33 percent.
