The World Bank has appointed Faris Hadad Jarvos as National Director for Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives. According to the World Bank, he has been appointed with effect from July 30.
He will lead the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka on behalf of the World Bank based in the Kathmandu sub-regional office.
Prior to that, Jarvos was the World Bank's National Manager for Nepal. Haddad Jarvos, a United States citizen, has been associated with the World Bank since 1996, and has previously served as National Manager in Malaysia and Bolivia.
