Kathmandu. Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank Parashuram Kunwar Chhetri has resigned from the bank. According to bank sources, the chief executive officer of the bank has resigned after a dispute with the board of directors. 

When Global and Janata Bank merged, it was agreed that the Chairman of the Board of Directors would be Global Bank and the Chief Executive Officer would be Janata Bank. According to the agreement, Chandra Prasad Dhakal is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global IME Bank and Kunwar was the CEO.

According to a source in the board of directors, the resignation of CEO Kunwar has been accepted. It has been decided to give the responsibility of Kamu CEO to Deputy CEO Mahesh Dhakal after CEO Kunwar resigned.
