Kathmandu. The price of gold in the Nepali market has exceeded one lakh rupees per ounce. The Federation of Nepali Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs has set the price of gold in circulation at Rs.
Gold, which stood at Rs 99,800 per ounce on Tuesday, rose by Rs 1,600 on Wednesday. Maniratna Shakya, the outgoing president of the federation, said that the rising price of gold in the world market has affected the Nepali market as well.
Gold prices have been rising steadily since the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic in the world. With the fall in the dollar and oil prices, investors have invested in gold, but prices have risen.
The price of gold in the international market has reached, 2,23.74 per ounce. This is the highest price ever.
