Kathmandu. Experienced banker Ratnaraj Bajracharya has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank. The board of directors of the bank has informed that Bajracharya has been appointed for a term of four years.
Bajracharya, a chartered accountant, has worked at Nepal Rastra Bank for 20 years and has gained experience of working together at a high level while managing foreigners at Nepal Bank in the course of financial sector reform.
He was the first Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank. After four years as the Chief Executive Officer of NCC Bank, Bajracharya became the Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank.
After completing his four-year tenure at Global IME Bank, Bajracharya became the Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Bank. He also left the banking sector after completing a four-year tenure at Sunrise Bank.
