Kathmandu: The risk of Corona Covid -19 has increased in the Kathmandu Valley and the number of employees of banks and financial institutions has also increased.

According to the information received, one and a half dozen employees working at the head office of Prime Commercial Bank have been confirmed to be infected. Test reports of some employees are yet to come. The majority of employees working in the bank's corporate department have been infected, sources said.

As of Saturday, 18 employees at the bank's head office had reported positive, the source said, adding that "many of them are high-ranking employees."

Meanwhile, the health report of six employees of Sunrise Bank's Gongbu branch has shown Covid-19 positive. The branch had 10 employees. The reports of 6 of them have come positive. Six employees of Thapathali branch of Nepal Investment Bank have also been infected with corona.
