Kathmandu, Rastriya Banijya Bank is going to start payment service through Point of Sale (POS). It has been informed that the bank is going to start payment service through POS with the objective of making the system of payment through electronic medium comprehensive and effective through all branches from November 20 (tomorrow) keeping in view the festivals including Dashain and Tihar.
In various businesses, when paying through Rastriya Banijya Bank's card through the bank's POS, a maximum of 15 percent or Rs.
Kiran Kumar Shrestha, chief executive officer of the bank, said that the electronic payment system could be helpful in staying away from the global epidemic and would benefit the customers, customers of the bank and the society as a whole.
The bank currently has 241 branch offices, 205 ATMs and 93 branchless banking in 77 districts of the state.
