The general meeting of Nepal Investment Bank has passed the decision to acquire Citi Express Finance Company.
The bank has conducted the meeting through virtual medium. From this special general meeting, Citi Express Finance Company has been receiving the share value in the ratio of 100 per 30.
The proposal to merge Citi Express Finance Company into the bank in the ratio of 30 shares of Nepal Investment Bank for 100 shares of Citi Express Finance Company.
After the completion of the process of merging Citi Express Finance Company Limited with a paid up capital of Rs. 400 million, the paid up capital of Nepal Investment Bank will be Rs.
Nepal Investment Bank currently has 83 branches, 125 ATMs, 17 extension counters, 10 revenue collection counters and 56 branchless banking counters. In addition, ICRA Nepal (International Credit Rating Agency-Nepal) has given the bank an 'A' class credit rating.
