Digital offers of banks targeted at Dashain,
Kathmandu. Banks have come up with various offers to encourage digital transactions on the occasion of Dashain Tihar, Chhath and other festivals.
Bank of Kathmandu has introduced BOK Smart Digital Dakshina Yojana. The bank's customers will get 100 cash gifts if they pay Rs 1,000 or more when they provide Dakshina to three different people using mobile banking. For this, you have to transfer money at least 3 times using mobile banking.
The person receiving Dakshina while exchanging money should be different. When providing the Dakshina, the customer should have more than 1000 transactions.
Mega Bank has also come up with a festival-targeted plan. The bank has brought an offer called 'Three out of three hundred' on the southern day of the decade.
The bank has come up with 'Digital Dakshina' scheme with the objective of promoting noteless banking business in the difficult situation of Corona. Those who give Dakshina in this offer will also get three hundred rupees.
For that, the bank's customers will have to send money to three accounts of any bank through phone pay using Mega Smart Banking app.
A cashback of Rs 300 has been provided from Mega Bank to the remittance account of Dakshina. However, the bank has requested to disclose the details as 'Dakshina' in the Remarks.
Sunrise Bank has also come up with a plan for the festival. The bank has introduced cash back scheme for purchase of air tickets and bus tickets.
The bank's customers will get cash back at the rate of Rs 200 per bus ticket and Rs 300 per air ticket for the first two transactions when they buy a bus or plane ticket using the Sunrise Smart app.
This scheme has been started from 25th September. It will continue till November 25.
Similarly, Rastriya Banijya Bank has made the system of electronic payment through all branches comprehensive and effective from November 20, keeping in view the Dashain Tihar and other festivals.
The bank has started payment service through Point of Sale 9POS. When paying money through POS from a bank card in various businesses across the country, the maximum amount of 15 percent or one thousand rupees whichever is less will be cashback.
The bank said electronic payment systems could help keep the Corono epidemic at bay. It is said that this system will bring maximum benefit to the customers, the service recipients of the bank and the society as a whole.
Between NMB Bank and IMS NMB Bank customers have come up with a special discount under Megadil and a cash back in tens of thousands if they use NMB Bank's card when buying a Samsung brand mobile.
With the bank's Visa debit and credit cards, customers will be able to get a 10 percent discount or a cash back of up to Rs 1,000 on the purchase of a Samsung mobile under the Dashain Maha Offer.
So far, NIC Asia Bank has launched 'Digital Dakshina Yojana'. Under this scheme, from Vijaya Dashami to Purnima, those who receive money from NIC Asia Bank to NIC Asia's account can get up to 10 percent refund. This digital Dakshina facility will be available only when the customer sends money to the account.
Similarly, Machhapuchhre Bank has brought an offer to provide attractive cashback to the customers who send digital Dakshina through Machhapuchhre Mobile Money on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami.
Emphasizing on cashless transactions as the risk of Corona is increasing, the bank has requested to give cash in cash up to a maximum of Rs. From the day of Vijaya Dashami to the full moon, customers will be able to get the cashback by sending Dakshina to any bank account through the bank's mobile banking app Machhapuchhre Mobile Money M3.
